Head of Academic's Message
A thoughtful, resilient, educator, hailing from Army background and a
successful corporate Leader, her belief about the international
education is to study the cultures, events, and practices of various societies
to pick up good aspects and imbibe them in ours. The world has changed
phenomenally and today we lives in the time of ‘Artificial Intelligence ‘AI
Augmented Reality ‘and internet of things; Lifestyles are changing, several
traditional educational practices, Jobs and careers are fast becoming
obsolete. At BCIS, we remain committed to keep re-inventing our curriculum,
pedagogy, systems and practices to well prepare our students to adapt to this new world order.
While doing so, we never losefocus from our endeavor of create. Our integrated curricula are
designed taking insights of world class practices from various education systems of CAIE, IB-CISCE
and CBSE in a unique way that makes our education impartment experiential and global which
empowers children to think critically, act responsibly and live happily in an ever-emerging
technology equipped world.
Our Philosophy: BCIS is integrated, Experiential and not Conventional: Our curriculum
has imbibed the best of practices and insights from various Conventional like ICSCE and CBSE,
International Education System insights of Cambridge and world class pedagogy used by IB
Geneva to create an integrated, well balanced, holistic curricula which empower children to look
beyond classroom boundaries and explore by learning through hands on experiences rather than
rote learning. Such integration fosters a sense of innovation, critical thinking and holistic
development of children. Our curriculum empowers the child to think about problems, whether
social, cultural, technological or ecological in a systematic manner and become an ambassador of
societal change by exploring a meaningful solution.
As research established, learners retain up to 90% what they do compared to just 10%
what they read. By engaging students in hands-on experiences and reflection, we enable them to
connect theories and knowledge learned in the classrooms to the real-world situations. This
empowers students to grapple with a problem using all their senses. the learning method thus
becomes multi-dimensional, cognitive and emotional process.
